Tourette syndrome is a disorder of the nervous system that causes repetitive tics (uncontrolled, repetitive vocal sounds or muscle jerks that happen suddenly). Mild symptoms can begin in children as early as 5 years old and include repeated blinking of the eyes or blurting out unusual sounds.

A migraine is a recurring, moderate to severe headache that can occur at any age. While more frequent in boys during early childhood and prepuberty, young women are more often affected during adolescence. The exact nature of migraines is unknown but can be hereditary in a large percentage of cases.
